My passion for making soap grew out of my many rich experiences as a registered nurse. Over the long course of my nursing career I cared for many patients with a wide variety of skin conditions. One day, as I was applying a therapeutic cream to the inside of a patient’s wrist to help ease their chronic nausea, I had a revelation. I realized, if a medication could enter your bloodstream through your skin, what else could enter your bloodstream while you are bathing? After all warm water opens up all of your pores.
